43 Tomorrow – January 7th

Right now it is the beginning of the week. It is Monday, 6th January 2020. Today begins with an early Doctors appt. Followed by a quick trip into Coles to grab a few things I missed on my shopping delivery or I could leave it until Friday. I will see how I am feeling after the Doctors appt. And so the appt.’s now begin for a new year, a new decade, since everyone is now back to work from the holiday period.

Tomorrow I turn a whopping 43. Damn, I am an old fella now. I am having a small get together, the same as last year. Just a handful of people close to me and that I trust. We are going to go to the same place we went to last year and have a BBQ by the Waterfront. Again, the exact same thing we did last year. The difference this year is there will be a couple missing that I don’t talk to anymore and someone that is usually away down the South Coast, but due to the fires she is now at home and will be coming down. It will be good to have her there, I did miss her last year, even though we did have a belated lunch at her place after she got back a couple of weeks later.

There is a lot of things happening for me in 2020 and beyond as I have mentioned in a previous post and I can’t wait to get started on these.

The major thing that I am waiting for, which I am hoping will come along very early this year is my own permanent home. A place that I will never have to move from again. A place I can finally settle down to the end of my time on this planet, whenever this time comes around. This will be again, a major change in my life and one that I do know will set my anxiety off badly. But it is something that I will overcome in time. But I also know it is for the best and what is needed as part of my continued journey into a better life.

My new iPhone X 256GB phone is amazing. I am usually an android person, with a Samsung phone, so the learning curve is a little different. But I can do things a lot easier on the new phone using Siri and other phone features. The only thing I actually dislike with iPhones is the fact that you can’t use an SD Card, which is why I have such a large GB phone. Yesterday I bought a wireless charging device for it for $24 for Kmart, makes it so much easier also. And it even works with the case still on the phone. So just slip it onto the upright stand and off it goes.

Looking at the time now I have just over 4 hours until I see my Doctor. We have to put a new Mental Health Care Plan into effect for the coming year. So things are going to start getting real again. And in 4 days is the first counselling session of the year. Which we will then start with fortnightly appt.’s and move to weekly if I feel the need. But for me, I honestly need to start slowly and am not going to get pressured into doing things I am not comfortable with. I am not going to rush into things, as this is where things for me usually crash and burn, hard and fast. And I don’t want that to happen. Right now I am in a better place then I have ever been in and I want to try and keep it that way.

You know I am still struggling with somethings, but that is really to be expected considering my previous lifestyle and the way I didn’t give a damn about anything. Where now I all do is give a damn about things.

Anyway, that enough from me at this hour of the morning. As always, I will post again real soon. But right now I have some work to get done on my business website before it re-opens after the Christmas and New Year break on the 8th January.
