A Few Updates

As I sit here at 11.30pm on Monday night I am in a shit load of pain. Both in my leg and in my lower stomach. I have had pain medication about 45 minutes ago and as of now they haven’t kicked in yet or they just aren’t working. And right now I am not really in the mood to take a double dose. But I have a support worker coming out from 11am tomorrow for a couple of hours so I need to at least try to get at least a few hours of sleep at some stage.

Also these constant hot and cold flushes all the damn time are annoying the crap out of me. And right now there is not a damn thing I can do about them. But I am sick of taking shirt off, putting it back on, turning the air con on, then turning it off again. And usually, this is all within about a 30 minute period. It is just all getting too much.

I might try to take my Lamictal, which I should have taken hours ago and also my sleeping vitamin, they might just help me sleep. I didn’t take all my pills earlier as I was having a few hours nap as I was totally exhausted.

And thank goodness my Doctor returns from holiday tomorrow and I have a double appt. with her on Wednesday morning. We have a lot of things to discuss and get planned. But there is no way we are going to have time to get through it all on Wednesday, which is why there is another appt. a week later, again another double to get the rest of the things done. Then also seeing her every 2 weeks after that on a double appt. also until the end of the month and then hopefully we will be back on track.

In the coming weeks, I am going to start writing some of my history of living on the streets and a lot of the things I went through. These will be some very hard things to write about but it is something that I feel I need to do as I can put things into words a lot better than I can talk to someone face to face most of the time. There will be some graphic detail in some of the posts, but I will put a warning at the start of each one so you know, then it is your decision as to whether or not you read on.

Anyway, that is enough from me for now, I need to take the rest of my pills and hopefully get some sleep.
