Not What I Wanted

It has now been 9 days since my last post which is not what I want. But right now I do have a lot of things going on both in my personal life, with my business and also with my health. So here is an update on the current things that I can update after a mammoth 75 minute appt. with my Doctor this morning. And a lot of things got done and were discussed and are now in planning stage. So let’s get through this.

Update from today’s Doctors appt.
Well the appt. all began prior to seeing the Doctor. It began with seeing the Vampire for them to take more blood. The amount of blood I have taken I swear they could open a blood bank with just my blood. But every time she got the vein and the blood started to flow into the vial the vein would collapse, which is nothing new I only have a couple of good veins. So it took several needles and several veins to get all the blood in all the different vials they needed. This was another big set of tests being done. And also checking something with my prostate. God I really hope another issue isn’t found, I really just will lose it and not cope.

Now due to the issue with the Neurologist at Gosford Hospital and the current investigation underway into the matter up there and my fits still occurring I still need to see a Neurologist, but the problem is obviously that I can not afford to see a private one, well so I thought. It turns out my Doctor does have some good contacts. Just like my private Dermatologist fully bulk billing me to see him, she has a Neurologist contact, a Doctor Anna Schutz (who is a private Neurologist on the Central Coast) who she discussed my case with as she wasn’t sure what Anti-Depressant she could put me on due to my fits and possible side effects with fits with other medications. So it turns out that Doctor Schutz has also agreed to see me as a private patient, and she will fully bulk bill me as well. I am truly blessed to have such a great support network of Doctors and Specialists looking after me, which I wouldn’t have if I was living on the streets. But honestly, I wouldn’t even be dealing with any of my health issues as it would be so hard. As I know from the years spent there previously. It is only because of not being homeless for the last 14 months, plus the months in hospital that I have finally begun dealing with everything. But the only issue is them constantly finding more things wrong with me then when we began.

So I have been put on an Anti-Depressant called Lamictal 25mg (she is starting on a small dose) and if there are no side effects after the first week I then start on Efexor XR 37.5mg (again starting on a small dose) – so I will be taking 2. Which I am not worried about, just a couple of extra pills a day to my massive list already, which in one post soon I will list everything that I take on a daily basis. You might get a bit of a shock and wonder why I don’t rattle when I walk around.

We also should have an appt. soon to see a Heart Specialist about the issues with my heart, but this could take some time and for now we will just continue to monitor it. And take it day by day as with everything else.

You will also know from a previous post that I found out that Housing NSW monitors my blog, which honestly I don’t give a shit about anymore. But today my Doctor did an updated Medical Review Form for them, and there is a lot more conditions now to what they had from about 16 months ago. And this is now coming from a Doctor that sees me a min. twice a week and has done so for around 8 to 9 months now. And she also made it clear in the form several times that my ‘coming off drugs‘, from a post back in April they said is in relation to me slowly reducing and coming off my Endone and OxyContin. Which is obviously prescribed legally as it has now been confirmed by a Doctor. And if they want further proof they can contact Medicare PBS – another Government Department as they have to approve the monthly scripts for these drugs. And these drugs aren’t ones you can just stop without having possible major issues. As both of them are opioid medications. And an opioid drug is in the class of the illegal drug heroin. And one of the most difficult drugs to come off. But we are getting there, slowly. But this is the way it has to be done.

My Business:
There has been a few issues relating to this as of later which has put me under a bit of stress. But that all appears to now be resolved and we are now moving forward with Hydra. Due to some issues with another website I am linked with we had to change our name from Flake Designs to our new name, Hydra Web Services. Which in a way is a good thing as we can now offer more services in the future without having to add extra domains or change of name etc.

I have also had a few staffing issues over the last couple of months, but these have now been resolved as well. I still have all my normal Management Team. Myself, Craig and Jessica. We are going to be looking for Community Moderators when we start advertising the site. Which will begin in the coming days …

Tomorrow at 9am I see Trish, who is my new counselor which I saw for the first time 2 weeks ago. Which went a lot better then I expected. But it is a damn early appt. that is for sure. I am being picked up at 8.30am to get there in time to have a smoke and relax for 10 minutes prior to going into the session. Then after this it is off to the chemist and then shopping then back home. Then that will put an end to my week. Thank goodness.

Anyway, that pretty much sums everything up for now. I am going to try to do some general posts soon which don’t involve the doom and gloom of my life all the time. But I will still keep you updated with everything when I know updates as well.

So for now, thanks for reading and I will write again soon, and hopefully I will be able to do that either tomorrow or on the weekend.
